Still Snowing

Icicles Bent by Wind
I am always fascinated by how icicles are formed.

Brown & White
I have been finding joy in the small bits of colour in my yard this year. We seem to have more snow and it keeps coming. Usually Chinooks come and melt it away, but not this year.

Mac and Horses
Mac running back after a walk, I noticed the horse with it's foot up after I took this picture.

Snow Drift
The snow drift is as high as the fence. Hope it melts enough to let me into the greenhouse one of these days. Still too cold to plant anyway.

Black & White
Mac is so black his eyes so dark they don't even show up.

Colours
I love the way the colours show up in this photo. There is a big wash tub I use for a planter under all that snow.

Snowflakes

They say no two snowflakes are ever alike. I don't know about that, but I tried to photograph some the other night. It was one of those rare snowfalls where every snowflake was an individual and didn't clump up too much, usually it's just powdery or blowing too hard to care.
I tried shining a flashlight and not get too much of a glare.

Here's a perfect one on the bottom left clematis seed pod.
Found my weeding tool waiting on the sundial for Spring. Only 4 to 5 more months to wait!

Even the poor elf got snowed on while peeking around the corner.

Some of these showed up pretty good. I was getting cold by this time and had to get in the house.
