Monkeyroom: Tutorial

Lori has a wonderful tutorial for a pincushion with spools of thread attached around the edges.  When I have a rainy day I will make one and post a picture.

Two flowers completed this week.

My real flowers are still holding up although it is getting late in the season  for us, I live near Calgary. The nights are getting cooler, 9 Celsius last night.

We are usually dry and I have a hard time keeping everything watered. This year has been more humid.

Thanks for identifying my last fabric as marbled. I don't know why I couldn't remember that.

I had to try and pose my fabric flowers with real flowers. I have really liked the photos others have done this way.

I'm not sure what you call this fabric, but I thought it would make nice flowers. I really do need to paint the deck railing.
