Earrings

I have expanded my jewelry making to include earrings. After 35 years, I have re-pierced my ears. Years ago, I couldn't find anything thing to put in them that did not cause some kind of reaction. I am sensitive to nickle and find I can wear silver with no problems, gold even affected me. I haven't reacted to the copper ones I have made so far. Copper is readily available and so much fun to work with.

Found the turquoise in Arizona at some of the rock and gem shows we went to on your winter trip there earlier this year. I must have lost a few beads on the blue and white ones, they aren't even anymore, easy to fix.The little ones are bent out of shape but I'll re-bend them the next time I wear them.

One Flower Wednesdays

Happy faces for how I feel. Spring is finally here and I can get outside and work in my garden.

Worked a bit on my watercolour quilt top.

Day one of my garden. Planted potatoes, peas, carrots, lettuce, spinach & basil. I have to go to town and buy onion sets and garlic to plant today. Corn, beans, and squashes after the weekend. I planted leeks that did not grow very well last year, but they came back as well as flat leaf parsley.

I see a poplar tree in the middle of the strawberries I have to dig out, and the poor spruce tree was really damaged by the hail last year. Here's wishing for a better summer this year!
Oh, I see I caught a hawk soaring.

Full moon last night. I will try and take another picture tonight if it isnt too cloudy, but will use a tripod.

One Flower Wednesdays

Finally got back to sewing on my new project.

Warm enough for Mac to take a dip
Spring is finally here, I hope so anyway. The birds are coming back, the grass is getting green and the snow drifts are gone.
